Since I cannot post a new thread on this part of the forum, I do want to ask a question. I was given a $100.00 gift card under the previous ownership. Is that gift card still valid or not once the new ownership gets everything up and running?

In one of the recent interviews Andrew Deutsch the new CEO of Shopsmith USA said that they will fill orders that were previously paid for under the old ownership. Not something they legally are required to do but ethically a nice thing to do. I would think a Gift Card would fall into that also. Check with Customer Service when they open up.

Is this where we will look for any forthcoming official announcements about the mothership? For example, when they are officially open, operating at 100 percent. New policies & product offerings ?

Elizabeth answered the main number when I called a few days ago with a technical question. I e-mailed customer support at her suggestion and received a reply from the man himself, Jim McCann. I'd say they are well on their way to being back in business.
