Distractions in the Shop...A NO NO?

I have a "Worktunes" headset with AM-FM which I use both mowing and in the workshop. I use a laptop computer in the room next to the shop. But I have found something more dangerous to laptops than sawdust and the is HEAT! One of the best tools I found was a "chill-mat" to put underneath the computer which serves to dissipate the heat.

BPR,

I've been curious about the Worktunes headsets. rather than ask about them here, would you consider posting a review of them over in the tool review forum? things like how well they block noise, can you hear the LOYL when she is yelling at the door, how comfortable are they to wear, do they go over the ears or clamp down on the ears, and that sort of thing.

of course, if you've already done that and I missed it, just point me, please.

With all of the other noise that distracts me in my shop, I would not worry about a radio or TV. The farm equipment will drown out the noise anyhow. You see, I do woodworking in the same shop that the rest use for equipment repairs. There is no peace. If I wait for it to be quiet it will be winter and too cold to work anyhow.
