My Saw Train is for the 500, so some pieces might be different. But that piece really has me stymied. I can't visualize where or how it might be used.
Did you get a bunch of fence inserts? If not, you'll want to get several.
Also, the router table looks like it's cut for a Jessem lift....maybe not. Jointech offered to cut their table for any lift the customer had. I bought my Jessem from Jointech, so it fit perfectly.
Were you lucky enough to get the lift, too?

Well this is my new toy. Certainly not a bargain as someone in e-bay land wanted it almost as much as i did. It was new in box old stock. I spent about 2 hours lapping the sole and tuning it. It has waited 50 or 60 years to make shavings, much to the disappointment of some collectors I'm sure.

Do did not get the lift. Would that have been something. But it did come with two inserts, one blank and the other was complete including a lot of inserts for the plate. I am watching the video for this jointech but nothing yet on the video for the total set up I have and Not to sure if it will address the SS aspect. So far just for two parts of what I have and only for a router table, Yes on the fence inserts. Several already used and about a dozen not used yet. I am also stumped on that part but never can tell might just be something in the boxes from something he already sold. I know it had solde the bandsaw, and speed increaser before I got to it. I know that from some of the parts still left behind. I got that big book with all the patterns with the jointech. Did they have something else that went with the SS set up I might be able to find. I know when I go on the site it shows this set up of the SS but nothing about a different manual.
Cabinetmaker that plane looks great and I am sure it is much happier being used than setting in a box in a cabinet.

Hey Paul....If you notice the stash of 'stuff', they are all items that will help me complete my project. These were the things that I was 'missing' (emotionally). I understand the reason for the mixed signals since it's taking me so long to finish my project but don't give up on me yet!.

I almost always pick up a few new things over winter and early spring. Tooooo cold to do woodworking but not to cold to buy tools.

Last summer I did some small turnings for a person who was restoring some old family heirlooms, it became apparent that the collection of lathe items I have could be supplemented to make this sort of task easier. So my budget had several lathe related items on it, the list started with some tools to work on smaller items, in this case a modular handled micro spindle set.

I ordered this for another project but a design change required a larger version so this now resides in with my lathe tools. I have already used it for a project, so as it turns out a 2" faceplate is nice to have.

Made in china but still it seems to be a good investment for what I paid for it. Yes a 25 foot 12 GA extension cord with a -40 deg F cold weather jacket. Yea it is important to not let those electrons get to cold.

Around about Christmas time the Incra Miter 1000HD was on sale for (if I recall correctly) about $100. Since I have been thinking of upgrading my Incra Miter Express to a new miter gauge I jumped on the deal.

I have the Incra Miter 2000 shopsmith edition and was using that and sometimes the standard shopsmith miter gauge with the Express but I wasn't all that happy with the miter guages I already had. This new one works much better.

Now keep in mind the 1000HD does not fit the shopsmith miter gauge slots but it does fit the Shopsmith edition of the Miter Express.

Well Fellas I broke my tradition of buying used tools this weekend by ordering the Overarm Pin Router from Shopsmith brand new! I couldn't pass up the special offer discount (just over 100 dollars off). I have longed for an OPR since I first learned about it. I'll post some pics of it in action on the goldie when it arrives. I suspect I'll be dealing with the usual back order wait, but I am sure it will be worth it. Christmas in April! Alec
