I served from 27 Oct 1972 to 1 December 1993. I believe all of us shared some time standing a line. Thank you for your service and also to those who gave all for us all.
My first deployment was 8mos 25 days around the world on USS Carl Vinson
My second deployment on the USS Abraham Lincoln went around South America. Between them both I have been around the world via Magellans course.
IF many unappreciative Americans could have the opportunity to live in some of the "romantic" less fortunate countries and even in some Euro countries they would understand how wonderful this country is with all of our problems.
It is great to be an American today!
