I am going to go throw up now.

There are those who stumble and there are those who are on an unending and fruitless search......

That and the crank backwards or upside down and 180 out is about all that be mis-assembled(assuming the roll pin holes are back mating the original end casting they were removed from!). Oh and the crank on the correct end(later models have holes drilled in both ends).

I guess anything is possible but I tried all possible alignment options and the final assembly was the closest to the model on my 520 that I could come up with. I think the rods were drilled wrong because they were different than on the 520.

Final assembly. I am really liking the size of these shorty machines as dedicated tools. This will be set up for 1/4 inch dado's mostly for drawer bottoms. The addition of this machine has however caused a dilemma that I am going to have to think about. Will I or won't I that is the question.

Great looking shorty, dry spell here since July, not much to find and if I do no money. Must be getting to everyone since the price's are going up on used around here. One guy has has a Bandsaw and DC on Ebay for months and still there, Price is not too high but also not a bargain.
