I have some of these. Using it for a fence on my bandsaw never occurred to me.

I read lots of posts about these before I bought mine. None were anywhere near as good as this one. Thanks for putting this together.

Regarding using one of these clamps as a bandsaw fence, if you have one of those double-sided models with a clamp on top as well as on the bottom, you can attach an "L" shaped fence to the upper clamp and make yourself a tall resaw fence.

Now dusty has made up a saw plate out of scrap to work with this clamp rather than messing around ordering I will just make a plate like dusty's

Dusty's can be seen in a thread titled when the scrap box gets full in the beginning woodworking subgroup.

Thanks Dusty!!!!

Ciao = ???

I suspect that the E. Emerson logo has been misread (two letters transposed).

I just received a pair of wide jaws for my U54 clamp. They came in a package labeled Caio followed by the words All In One where the words were preceded by a C shaped arrow.

EEmerson and Caio are the same company (or very closely affiliated). If you go to their website at the top of the home page to the left of the Eemerson logo you will see the CIAO logo also - it's easy to miss.
