I know you would enjoy that. I can think of many things I would prefer to keep a record of. If I published that picture my bride would make my life miserable, regardless of whom received credit for the cause, no thanks.

You mentioned something I didn't think about. Most of this herbicide is systemic, meaning it absorbed into the vegetation and goes down to the roots and kills the plant. However to make things happen for most users who what to see immediate results they often put a chemical in that makes the plant wilt. I think what may be happening is your are spraying this but it is killing the plant before it get fully absorbed by the roots and since they are basically untouched the plant quickly comes back.
Roundup also makes a brush and tree killer, I believe it is designed to work slower so the actual vegetation killing chemical has time to reach the roots. It is not necessarily that much stronger (though it is usually full strength) it is just engineered to get down to the roots and kill them.

I would try that and see if that does not solve your problem.
