Your bench top contains an interesting assortment of "wood working" items.
Mark's shop is always impressive, even when it is obvious that he is deeply involved in a project. If I lived nearby, I would volunteer as floor sweep just so that I could snoop.

I'm pretty good at guessing weights using complex formulas. For example when I weigh myself I usually have a number of items in my pockets. Rather that empty my pockets I just weigh dressed and then deduct 50 pounds...

Rick, My work is not on a par with his either, but if your improvement makes you happy, that is sure OK. I have to admit that some some of my "improvements" really aren't, and don't make me happy.
I have " repurposed" the material used in my first out feed table into my second, third and now fourth. This one, with some help from Dave on E-bay seems to make me happy.
Lots of fun and learning doing them however.
wheels in the wrong location

Mark if I were you I would put one wheel on the front corner one wheel on the side corner do this on all four corners. lift two wheels at one time lifting only one quarter of the weight per two wheels you may lift it and the wheels may hold. best of luck

As to the boards for the bessey clamps JPG pegged it. I can quickly clamp them to my bench. The black clamp stands are mounted to the boards. I screwed the front ones down and also screwed the clamps to them so that they cannot slide forward. The rear block just floats in a track so that I can slide them back and forth. The left side clamp and block is stationary and I use it as a squaring block also. The right side I just move along the length of the bench depending on the length of the doors. I am working on a thread in the next few days and they may make better since. The thread will be about a cypress cabinet for an outdoor kitchen.

I drilled holes in all the lever arms so that I could mount a board to activate all 4 at one time.

Problem is I cant budge it and I don't think an elephant could lift this thing. Farmer my be right with the Monster truck tires!:D
Tomorrow I am going to plan B and mount a lever board to flip down and activate the casters.

Cliff I wanted to keep them all on the ends so that I don't hang cords and airlines up so badly. Not to mention my feet getting in their way!
Ok I wont bore you with all the details of plan B. (especially since it did not work)

I decided to hinge a piece of 1 1/2 x 5 inch maple to flip down and use as a lever. As it was nearing the rollover cycle it suddenly slammed back down. Closer inspection reviled the bent hinge. Also nearly pulled a couple of the screws out of the maple plywood.

Well I didn't want to say it before. But I was thinking the bench was 500 lbs +.

11 routers seems like alot for 2 hands...
But I want to make my first router purchase and based on your "floor" stock
, what do you reccommend for a 1-2 router garage sir? With your background I would value your opinion.
The bosch one with the pretty wood handles at Lowes looks good, but I'm not router -versed.

I think 'Plan C' needs to include a hydraulic jack!;) Make that two if permanently attached!:D
