a1gutterman et al, I understand your theory and your frustration. Wish I really had an insight into their business practises but I don't, I am only guessing. Your theory is a little weak, IMO, because if it was valid I don't believe they would be sending out more than about fifty-hundred email videos. I say this because 1) class size is limited to 20 (40 per week) and 2) sessions have not been booked full and 3) many sessions are visited by repeat visitors.

Don't fuss - call customer service. Make sure your email address and name remain constant. What I had done was register one time as Richard and one time as RC and one time as Dusty. Also confuses the computer to give your address inconsistently -West Placita vs W Placita vs W. Placita.

It is not important enough for me to call customer service; perhaps someone else will want to. I do not have any idea how many are receiving them (video e-mails); do you? It is possible that only the few that have seen a Sawdust Session have been getting them. Has anyone reading this who has not been to a Sawdust Session gotten an video e-mail? Please tell us here so we can put my theory to the test. If my theory is incorrect, maybe I can think of another:D.

I have never been to a sawdust session (I am asleep when they are shown live) but I get the video postcards. I don't seem to get a paper catalog anymore, maybe they listened to me when I said the PDF is good enough or it was not delivered because of the address issue.

That blows one theory, now I will have to think of another, or maybe we will here from admin. Thanks Paul.

I did not receive a new catalog yet either and have been buying regularly by phone and over the internet. I did not get any of the internet sales nor the video emails at home. I have attatchments blocked at home due to the spam stuff. I changed my email address to my work address it has high speed internet access and now I get the e-sales emails there. Not sure if I ge the video emails though. hummm have to watch for that. I usually see a post in the forum with a link to the video emails and I run to work to watch them there. I don't have high speed internet available at home just dial-up but I love living in the country.

Thanks for your input! Living in the "country" is great isn't it?! My commute is over an hour, but well worth it. Where I live, there is no cable so HS internet service is limited to what the local phone co. offers: DSL @ 100.0 Mbps. It is good enough for me to view the Sawdust Session .

I assume you mean 100 Kbps, 100 mbps is more than anyone has today at home. If you really want high speed you can get satellite, it runs about $100 per month and you can usually get at least 1 Mbps, some offer up to 8 time that.

Here we are fortunate enough to have several choices, cable at 8-12 mbps or FOS from the phone company at up to 15 mbps. Also mobile internet from your cell phone provider may give you 1-2 mbps for around $60-$75 per month with the advantage of being nationwide with a laptop.

I hate to burst a bubble. Our internet speed at home is 6 times what you quoted. We have DSL thru the local phone carrier costing about $59.00 per month. This service is provided for our home based business thru a business phone line. Jim

I really don't know a thing about DSL. My provider, CenturyTel, TELLS me that my connection speed is 100Mbps. And that is not the best they offer. I do not know what that means, it is just what they say. When I do speed tests from this site:
www.speakeasy.net/speedtest , I range between 150kbps and 300kbps at any given time. I am told that is slow, but like I said, it was good enough to see the Sawdust Session yesterday.

Which is about in the middle and costs me $20+/month. I'd have to look up the exact cost.
