I'll bet you will see a large portion of that voting bloc with NO party affiliation. The only times we see bipartisanship in Congress is when their owners/bankers "need" a bailout. The rest is all smoke and mirrors. As long as they can get people to say crap like, "communist", "teabagger", "derstroyin Merika", "Kenyan", "Bush's fault", etc...the politicians win.



Oh and about Rush: His comments calling for public executions were made on December 24, 2003 with his lawyer present after his arrest. Comments were made to Andy Grainger.

"It's the only way to stop this scourge from infecting America," he said. "If there were no drug users, the dealers would be out of business. Am I right?"



He went on to say that rich people should be exempt from executions because they won't have to rob and steal to feed their addiction. (Of course he only wants to kill poor people).

"Say, for example, a rich white talk-radio host isn't going to knock over a liquor store, is he? He just needs a little help with back pain!" he boomed. "Now folks, that's not the same as some inner-city kid stealing to buy crack, is it? He's dangerous!"

None of that is true. Those quotes are from a piece of satire. He never said any of that. He has argued against legalization of drugs. He has said illegal drug users and pushers should be arrested. He said too many white people were getting away with doing and selling drugs. But he never said any of the above. You could certainly call him a hypocrite on the issue. You could also say he speaks from first-hand knowledge. It's all about which perspective you choose.

He also said that if Obamacare became law, he would move to Costa Rica. So Mr. Limbaugh...I await your public execution and the sending of your corpse to Costa Rica. I bought two of your books and listened to you for years. Time I'll never get back, sadly.

I'm no fan of Rush Limbaugh for the same reason I'm no fan of Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity or Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews. They are all intellectually dishonest loudmouth shills engaging in a war of words on behalf of two political parties that really aren't even very different. But if you're going to attack someone for something they said, you should first make sure they really said it. That is their kind of tactics.

The part of the voter ID arguement no one has yet to publically call BS on is...why is getting a photo ID so difficult but you have no problem registering to vote? Anywhere I've lived they've either been at the same location and done at the same time, or you had to go down to the court house to register to vote which was less convenient than the DMV.

I can register to vote online and free in about 2 minutes. Getting a DL or ID card requires at least 5 hours of standing in line.

I believe that for every instance of fraud, there are at least 10 regular citizens that the law prevents from voting.

So, what could solutions be that would eliminate the issues with an ID requirement and still help eliminate fraud in our election system? Can anyone cite any statistics of actual voter fraud? How prevalent is it? I know there are millions of dead people still on the rolls, but does anyone actually show up and pretend to be them?

One does need to be a citizen to obtain a ss card? Hey we need to add photo's to SS cards(they need to be replaced regularly anyway since they wear out).

Also, they left out the caller before his Costa Rica comment in which the caller asked him where he would go for healthcare.

To say nothing re the miserable lack of proper training and responsibility of today's 'journalism' folks. Accuracy checking and proper verification are rarely done due to the need for 'speedy' delivery.

I would rather have veracity than scoops.

Guys, I hate to admit it, but the only news source I trust these days, is Glenn Beck's "the Blaze."

They really don't care who's ox they gore, Democrat OR Republican. In fact, he's worse on Republicans.

Glenn Beck is a Mormon, and I was raised that way. So, I know the "other set" of rules he should be following. And when he crosses the line, I'll be on his case, like I am on Mr. Limbaugh.

And, had the last presidential election turn out differently, Mitt would be under the same scrutiny from me. (In fact, he IS! He was "pro choice" to be governor of Mass.) Mitt and I are closer than most people think. His father and my father were born in the same city, and country. Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua,(the city of tiny dogs) Mexico.

Back to Glenn Beck. "So far" I've not heard anything to lose my trust.

About ALL the other "media personalities," I can't find any to trust. Brit Hume, possibly. There was someone else, a Washington correspondent, who's name I can't place, sounded good a few years ago.

Guys, our President spent more time on the Trayvon story, than the Benghazi attack. I'm not saying Zimmerman was innocent in reality, but there was not enough evidence to convict. I think we've got PLENTY evidence on Benghazi.
