Incorporate a 'peg' to engage work pieces with the movable face.

At first I thought that was what the lever was for, but do not see the
rising part'.
That is the quick release lever.

Squeezing the curved lever disengages the half nut and allows the moving jaw to slide open and closed.

This model did not come with a built in dog but I will add one when I install the wooden faces.

Your premise may be true, but your conclusion is invalid. ;) When a person freely admits ignorance of something, that (to me) only serves to increase that person's credibility!

So how does 'this' affect my credibility?

I did not know it had a release mechanism either. Had I known that, I 'might' have figgered it out! :D

Also my 'peg' should have been referred to as a 'dog'?

Woof Woof. :p

Almost missed it again now.

Must be getting senile. Actually 'distracted'.

Had I not missed it the first time, I am now not sure that I would have figgered it out.

The first rule of the forum is - "There are no silly questions." :D
None of us know everything. There are always opportunities to learn. ;)
Any lapses of attention will be attributed to AAADD (Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder) which is pretty universal, at least at my house.
I suspect ERLover was just winding you up and no actual disrespect was intended.

Dusty, I dont know if it was in a PM or a post, I am not him, we might have the same sense of humor, and I searched him here and read allot of his stuff, like I said to you, seems like he has anger issues, loves ERs, and a simular sense of humor. Now put it to bed, please :)
