Rodger, will do. I had planned on taking some WD40 and 3 in 1 with me anyway. So far, the higher quality bearings (ABEC7) that I have been offering as upgraded blade guide tracking dual bearing kits has not shown any noise or other problems. I was using ABEC3 rated dual bearings for the bandsaw upgrade for the past few years without any reported noise problems. This past fall was when I found the latest bearings was available so I switched to them. The current bandsaw guide bearings are motor grade (ABEC0) rated bearings which may be why the noise will occur over time. Also this upgraded bandsaw dual bearing kit can be installed on the earlier versions Shopsmith bandsaws with the roller bushing guides. I include a shim and longer bolts and extra nut and washers for these models.dusty wrote:I have two Shopsmith band saws. Nonetheless, I believe these are as good as you can get for the money. There are times when I wish they had greater capacity but that is seldom an issue for me.
