It is mine as well. I figured if I would go with a woodworking system, that is what I would want.

Wow, This thread has lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July!!!

As for the question, I'm with most others here. My 500 is the primary work horse. And as with a bunch of others, I just keep adding more SS's.

In addition to the model 500, I have two Mark 2's and so many 10ER's, I've lost track of the actual number.

Two of the 10's are dedicated drill presses. One is a lathe, Another is a dedicated sander and it just goes on from there!

I'll jump in here--Shopsmith 510 with PowerPro is my only floor-standing tool. I picked up a second 500 which lives in a friend's garage currently, but in fall 2014 we bought ourselves 4 acres with lots of outbuildings, including a 24' x 30' soon-(hopefully)-to-be workshop! So then I'll have both in production, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I do have many of the add-ons (bandsaw x2, jointer x2, planer, jigsaw, belt sander). I ordered the bandsaw table upgrade this week (both mine are the cast iron) because I wanted something a little quicker / easier to keep up for resaws, and I'm interested in the ease of the circle cutter for some work I do (though jigs are easy enough for that). I figure I have to keep buying stuff from them to keep them in business so I can continue to get parts the rest of my life.

Also, Tom and Brenda--we need to have some kind of Iowa Shopsmith reunion. I'd love to commiserate with other locals!
