Chris do you have a Craftsman "100"? I hope to follow along with your arbor and bearing upgrade. I probably need it too.

I corrected the original post. This is the kind of thing that happens when I post while drinking Scotch on an airplane ... and No, I'm not a pilot.
Thanks much,

Awesome guard! I was wondering if they had dust collection built into the guard as the lower guard dust collection still allows quite a bit of dust to kick back in front of the blade.

When using it, do you just hook up dust collection to the upper gusrd or do you split and hook to both?

Great rip fence alignment chat... I have some things to check on when I get back home!

Cheers,
John

They are absolutely great. I have one of the first ones he made for the SS and I also have one on my Powermatic PM2000 saw. Yes you need to hook up the top and bottom ports. On the SS I have two short hoses connected together with a "Y". I also use a 90* adapter on the shark guard on the SS. On the PM2000 I have an over head arm so the 90* adapter is not needed.

Thanks John! I always appreciate the input. :)

I will look in to splitting the suction! I hate dust lingering for too long.

Cheers,
John
