I'm normally an analytic type, but this situation just cried out for experimentation. I've been needing some new rubber booties for my standalone OPR, but nothing else has come up to share shipping costs. Until now. :D

Being a notorious big spender  , I just now potentially invested a grand total of $1.66 to find out if the mothership can indeed deliver a pair of the 515640 bushings to my mailbox. Will keep y'all posted! :)

i called shopsmith the end of last week and was told the part numbers i requested were not available anymore...if what you are saying is true then someone needs to re-educate the girls that answer the phone.

This could turn out to be quite interesting!!! :D

The mothership came through, just as moiramph promised. Unfortunately, they no longer carry the standalone OPR leg booties that I actually needed, so the S&H cost got added on to my experiment cost. :( Customer service called me about this before fulfilling the balance of the order -- I told them to go ahead and ship the bushings anyway. Hey, good science is expensive! :D

I guess I'm out of the "unobtainable replacement parts" business. It was such a promising future...

Good to know Dennis.

I too ordered a set of those a while back, intending to use them on my OPR stand. Unfortunately, while they fit the Pro Planer, the Power Station, and my jigsaw's Power Stand, they are about 1/2" too wide to fit my OPR stand. The part number needed for that stand is 515157.

Next time I order something from McMaster Carr, I think I'll get a foot of this push-on rubber edge trim. I doubt that it can handle the corner bend radius, but two short pieces per leg should work OK.
