Apparently you discovered 'redefinition' will suffice as a substitute for deletion.

I haven't re-defined a damn thing, I just see the post going downhill and accomplishing very little other than animosity among the forum. Further, I was of the impression that the "Community" segment was for viewing and discussing topics that don't fit into the segments specifically regarding SS equipment and "Wood Work" per se. Guess I was wrong if this is not the case what exactly is the "Community" segment for?

So what you really want Admin to do is delete the 'thread'.
Understandable!
The 'community' forum is for all that does not fit into one of the other niches.
That does not mean however that 'anything goes'.
Consider what St Peter(heaven's gate keeper) would think of anything said or posted. A far more critical censor than Admin.
No, I am not judging, merely observing and commenting. To each their own.

Do not feel like the 'Lone Ranger'. At least you are still a member of the family regardless of where you said to put it.

Don, I hope there is no animosity felt, no one, including myself wanted that. Most of us have never met each other and probably never will, but I feel (maybe wrongly) that we here tend to be kindred spirits married to possibly the neatest tool created. We all have opinions and want to share them. Having an opinion does not require it to be be screamed from the highest mountain. (And yes, I have done that )If an opinion gets trumped on, (no pun intended)and God knows mine quite often are, we move on. Like JPG said, to each his own. Make new friends, but keep the old - One is silver and the other gold!
Don't know why that song came to mind! Peace
