These and the craftsmanship is beyond words. Thank you for showing us how you did it and the final product. It appears that this takes much time and planning. Great job!

Everett, I shaped the rim with a dremel after I finished turning it. If you look closely at the first picture you will notice the rim is not quite even, the segments between the "petals" are slightly shorter and I would have had to flatten the tops of the petals to make the rim flat, which I didn't want to do. So I came up with the idea to grind a slight curve between the petals with my dremel.

And you can still drink out of them without dribbling (I tried). Not that it matters anyway since they're decorative.
