Hi Dave,
I just got the feeling that it was knot a dog house, but I thought cat houses were only legal in the state of Nevada! Good looking cat, too! BTW, cats think that everything being done is being done for them.

Dave, Thanks for showing your newer projects! I know they will give inspiration to others!

Addressing the Ferrel cat's house - I, also, would bet he knew the house would be just for him! Animals have this ability to know such things! He is one very nice looking cat that has a very nice shelter. I was attracted to the nice job of roofing and the super porch you took the time to build for him.

Speaking of nice - that cubby hole storage container is really classy by itself. Is it for shoes? I love the trim - it's sharp looking, covering connectors and edges. What kind of glue did you use between the wood and melamine?

Hi Dave - you fooled me on this one! I had thought the carcass was melamine. Your finish is so good it looked very white and smooth. The reason I asked about glue was based on my assumption, as Titebond makes a special glue to bond melamine to wood. Wondered if you used that stuff.

I was given a (I'm guessing) 1953 Mark V 210. It's all in pieces ( and I DO mean pieces) and rusty. I think it's all here tho'. The original paperwork is still in CA somewhere and I'm in OH. I have no idea how it all goes together. It's also got a lot of rust. I tried naval jelly and it didn't work very well. I've got some other stuff but I'm afraid to use it because it seems so toxic and I have dogs and a VERY small space. What to do and how to do it?

Welcome to the forum. It sounds as though you might have a challenge but it will be worth the effort. Do not despair.

There are four Sawdust Sessions that I believe you should view. These have to do with restoration of an old Mark V. Viewing and studying them will give you a feel for the depth of the challenge you have taken on.
