agreed. or vice versa. or left side and right side. that's what I was trying to say when I suggested putting the lid hinge axes and the big board hinges on opposite sides.

Well I FINALLY got to talk to the S-I-L. She wants it like her's, which has an open back. So that means 3 sides, and I'll put 2 lift up lids on it. One for trash and the other for recycled items.

I did find some plans, but not what I wanted. The dimensions were
height = 35"
Width = 18.5"
depth = 13.375"
I figure I just need to double the width to fit a trash and recycling container in it.
