My wish is that the reborn Shopsmith will focus on spare parts mfg and sales to the existing market. Must get Cash In.

Maybe also support rehab and resale of existing machines. More machines in use = more part and accessory sales.

I think new machine investment and sales would be a $$ bridge too far. Fix the Power Pro and leave it at that. Not enough potential new owners at the new-machine price point.

But what do I know? Thanks and best wishes to the new owner.
Steve,

Andrew did indicate in his interview that this is a focus for the new company, a welcome change and getting back to normal, in my opinion. He also talked about bringing back the conventional headstock as an entry Shopsmith system for around $3k (bare bones model), but still selling the PowerPro at around $6k. Also mentioned bringing back the planer and possibly making a thickness planer SPT. One important thing he said is that credit cards won't be charged until items ship, which is a change from the prior regime. Also, he is putting in place inventory through the online system so that you can't click through and add to cart on the website if the product is not in inventory (ready to ship out). You will be able to reserve some items if it isn't in stock, but all of this sounds like the right, ethical thing to do. I watched both interviews he gave and it was refreshing to hear his perspective on the business as well his ethics. Will have to wait and see the results, but sounds very encouraging.

Interviews (in case anyone missed them):

IF the "mechanical headstock" goes back into production that is good news for us maintaining our 60 yr old machines. :)

Oh if only Mark VII production were viable. :(

I will check into it. I had restored our data to current versions of the software and likely missed something.
Thank You.
It was working but now it has stopped again. I am not sure exactly when it stopped but it has been a few weeks.
