I have thought about making a replacement but have not done it and haven't needed a replacement yet. It is aluminum rod, so bending is an easy task. Do make sure you get the bends right so it will lift the Upper Guard up enough to clear the front edge of the guard under where the Shoe mounts.

Thanks Russ. Good catch! I did do a lot of testing with it and I believe that I have it correct.
