I doNOT presume to speak for Dusty, but I believe his position was that one should NOT be poking fun at someone else's efforts which do not deserve it!
It that respect, his position does NOT differ appreciably from Yours stated above! He is just more 'direct' in expressing it!
Just an observer noting human nature!

If you watch the video you will see that both sides of the kerfmaker have to lay down flat onto the saw. Version 2 will not allow this because of the clamping system that he ended up going with. There was a reason kerfmaker resested the knobs on there version. Also if you looked he either didnt have any of the screws tightened or an optical illusion was happening because nothing looked square and it looked like it was twisted in the photos. That is how I came to my opinion that I took down as to not take away from the great work that was done from this thread. Sorry

1) WHAT Video??? Went through the pages that decriibed using it but did not see any link to a VIDEO!
2) So you rotate it rather than 'flip' it. Where's a problem?
3) I would really like to see the 'video' in which you apparently saw the 'bolt heads' that prevent using it by 'flipping'. It is not apparent from the line drawings of only the one face that there ARE heads protruding. I am assuming you are actually referring to the "original's" video.
