Yep, I saw the planer in the original listing. There was a good pile of extras.

c'mon you guys..I am 5' 10' and 165 and can easily pick the thing up and move it around no prob.

eat more oatmeal! ;)

Everybody should become badly disabled at some point in their lives or suffer weakness from old age or live in extreme pain for a period of time... Maybe then messages like this would be replaced by thought, compassion and basic consideration for others... :(

I just used this method to break down a Mark V that I just purchased from craigslist (my 1st MkV!). Amazingly easy. And I was able to fit it all into a Hyundai Elantra hatchback (not a big car), along with a bandsaw and planer.

There are herds of great tips just like that in these pages. I sure wish I could remember more of them. :)
Life is so much easier and more fun if we can learn from others instead of having to figure everything out for ourselves.

I still like MBC's four screws, two(4?) setscrew method best!

I still like MBC's four screws, four setscrew method using only a 9/16" socket wrench and ss tool kit(5/32" long hex) and a 2x4 best! :D
