There just isn't words colorful enough to describe that train you built. I can't even fathom undertaking that gargantuan project. That train is as nice as any that has ever been built I am sure. That thing is truly priceless and the fact you did it while still a high school student just blows me AWAY! Not to inflate your head any bigger but that thing is something you should be extremely proud of and it SHOULD be showed off at every chance you get to do so. If it were mine it would be prominently displayed somewhere in the house so anybody who came to visit could not miss it. Man I am just in complete awe of your talent..........Three Thumbs up to you and your SICK train............:):)

I do indeed have the train displayed. It is in our dining room on top of a breakfast hutch. It sits with the unqualified glass case on top and a little message I engraved into the glass that dedicated it to my Grandfather.

I always swore, I was going to re enter the train into the fair but build a partial engine, blocks of wood cut to approx size and then rough cut wood. Then Put them in a series and get a carved wood sign that says have to make a train from scratch. That I think is still a life goal I don't know how many people will understand it, but my old shop teacher who still goes to the fair will get a kick out of it.

Honestly though, If you want a project that was fun but challenged every wood working bone in your body, made you think on your feet as you modified the plans, and drove you up a wall all the same, this is the project for you. It takes serious time and effort to pull off, but it should make a nice heirloom someday.

Actually am moving to my new home next month am looking for a hot tub for my home.My one friend suggest me that wood made bath tub is best for increase the grace of Home.I just want to confirm that is it possible to have wood made hot tub.if possible than which wood will be best for hot tubs? Please sort out mine doubt about wood made tubs.

He cannot be very 'ancient' since he obviously does not know the original 'hot tubs' were reused wine tubs! ---------- Made from wood.
