Just started the New Mexico thread. Been out of the loop for a while as the combination of work, family, and finishing my Masters degree have been consuming my time.
mrhart - would you mind adding the New Mexico link to the front page? One other thing, after trying to follow the links on the front page it looks like they only show the original post from each thread. Any way to have them link to the entire thread?

That is my fault!!!!:o I instructed him how to add links to single posts(rather than each thread). Post # 26 this thread. My apologies!!!!!
And Thank You for calling that to 'our' attention!
If I have not confused Mrhart further, he may make the corrections.
Unfortunately(?) only the originator of a post can edit it.

I just put a link on Kansas to go to Kansas Shopsmith Owners/Users. Don't know if that is the way you want it done, but it works. What would be good is to put a Sticky for SS by state search, and not have post on it, just the link to the states.

That is an effective work around, but every thread starter would need to do the same. I have pm'd mrhart with a list of all the existing threads urls. I hope if he has time, he will change the current single post links to the thread links.joedw00 wrote:I just put a link on Kansas to go to Kansas Shopsmith Owners/Users. I apologize to all for having been the cause of this misdirected result.

If it had been initiated as a sticky, would it have remained on the first page of the thread in which it was started?

The 'it' that is relevant IS still at the top of each state's thread. Making it a 'sticky' would not change the status quo.dusty wrote:If it had been initiated as a sticky, would it have remained on the first page of the thread in which it was started?
The 'problem' is I instructed Mrhart to 'go to the top post' by way of the display single post function. That created links to ONLY that single post rather than the entire thread. Still sorry!!!:o

I just looked at the OK group again and there are only 7 of us on it. Surely there are more than 7 of us in OK in the group. If you are lurking you need to let us know where you are and join the fun.
Thanks
Thanks
