I agree, I use these with my 520 for some things and T-Nuts for others. Both serve a purpose.

I think that's a good solution too. Thanks everyone for the help.

Here is another post from the past. Just in case you don't recall about the issue of those rockler clamps. No it is not a show stopper but beware where that screw clamp is in relationship to the t-slot.

There you go, saving the day again!
Probably saved someone some major aggravation.

You know you can get an upgrade for the "500" rip fence that not only has a "T" slot in the top but it has the holes in the side (3 of them).

Yes I did/do. I am not all that impressed with the bandsaw sibling so it is doubtful I will spring for one.

I have been exploring making an attachment to a 500 fence, but then I priced the SS t-slots. If I continue with that, it will most likely involve another 'vendor's' t-slot(4 fer the price of one SS and $ left over)!;)

Which other t-nut? I've not seen another that fits in the Mark 5/V.

Make that t-track! Takes 1/4-20 screws. Incra mini. 4 ft/<$20.

The mini is not as thick as the 'normal' t-track. I am trying to keep the dimensions 2 1/2" x 2 7/8" x 24".

A screw head is not as strong as a SS t-nut, but may be adequate.

I use a number of Incra products and hold them in high regard. However with the mark V I will stay with the Shopsmith T track and T nuts. Jim
