This motor is continuous duty and has the fins under a cover at the flywheel end.

It's just an idea. First I gotta get turning on this thing...

A certain individual who frequents here has been known to place a 10" pulley on the upper shaft of a mark 5/V with the drive belt removed(poly-v/gilmer). Also a jackshaft arrangement has been used(same 'individual') to provide slow rpm's to the bandsaw for cutting metal.

i.e. There are 'workarounds'.:)
