I already tried the local farm supply stores, didn't see it.

That Menards is only 30 minutes out of the way when I go to the lake about every other weekend. Supposed to be up there Friday after work refurbishing some canoes I bought with a friend, but he is on lockdown with his wife for an ill advised fishing trip last weekend. I was not involved so hopefully that means he gets parole for this.

Push comes to shove HFT is 30 miles away, which sounds far but in the boondocks that means the next town over.

I think that is an engine block from an Abrams Tank.
Abrams tank use a turbine engine.

If that's from the Evaporust website its a marine diesel used by the Navy, and actually is fairly small as far as boat engines go.

Guess just could have used the store locator of the Evaporust site. ;0:) haha! They even have a $3 mail in rebate before the end of the month. You'll want to go to evapo-rust.com, the other site is a distributor.

FWIW, I be going to TN this weekend.

The Lowes store in Severville now has 0 qts of evaporust.

An hour ago it had 10.

$1.12 / qt!:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

I have a very good friend there!!!!!:D

A woman saw my good friend clearing the shelf and decided that it had to be a good deal if my friend was doing so. We let her have one!:)

Wonder what she will use it for?:D

$1.12/qt - wow. I thought I was doing well at $2.24/qt and I even left some for the next guy (or gal).

I searched on line and found 1 here in Lexington, and '8' in Severville, TN. 0 everywhere else I looked. Verified current AutoZone price(8.99) and decided to jump. My friend found 10 on the shelf in Severville.

The Lowes web site said the second closest Lowes to me had 6 in stock at $1.12 each. I just bought all 6 online for store pickup. No other Lowes within my region had any in stock according to the web site.

I've never used EvapoRust but that may be changing. I just placed an online order for in store pickup at my nearest Lowe's. I ordered 4 quarts. Got the whole gallon for $4.97(including tax).

If it turns out to be a good deal, I'll kick myself for not getting a lot more.

If I had purchased a $100 worth of the stuff, I'd get it home and it would not work OR I'd pour it into the vat and the next morning I'd find that it all leaked out.

So....I went the frugal route - 4 quarts.

Just got a phone call that my friend has a get out of jail free card for the entire weekend, and need to go up to West Marine anyway and the bow shop I like to use is up there so Menards it is. I checked Orscheln's but its hard to find things there sometimes, I boycott Autozone, and hadn't thought of OReilly even though I'm in there 8 days a week.

That's a steal.
I wouldn't go so far as to call it miracle juice, but it's close.
