I suppose the same could be asked about nearly all of the trips made by the President? Like the trip he made the night of the attack on the embassy in Benghazi.
This is a classic case of "dammed if you do or dammed if you don't". The trip, I believe, was strictly to show support for those people who were at the mercy of this disaster.

You must be a Republican.

I'm confused by this.

What Will It Cost for the President to visit Moore, Oklahoma today?

It doesn't really matter what it costs if there is some real value that comes out of the trip.

But does the positive value of a trip, by the President and his entourage, to a disaster ravaged community offset the real cost?

What does the trip actually accomplish?

What does it really cost?

Could the money be better spent?

These do not seem to be partisan questions. Sorry but I don't recognize the basis for that conclusion.

Most clever Obi Wan. I've waited for Grasshoppers to respond. No response leads me to assume that went right over some heads. I know, mixing Obi Wan and Grasshoppers is mixing movies with TV which is like mixing metaphors and is a pain in the ass and should be thrown out the window.:p

How is potus any different from pitass? Ponder that.

I remember reading somewhere that Ex-President George Bush make 13 trips to the New Orleans area in the 3 years after Katrina.

Was the outrage over the frequency of his trips?...... I didn't think so.

I agree there shoulda been flak! 'Party affiliation' is irrelevant.

Problem is, with Katrina there was so much wrong that trips were small potatoes.
