Even though I was not in the military, I did work closely with many aspects of it, for nearly 12 years, and I never began to think the mindset of a drill sergeant

After serving what seems like half a life time in the military, one does develop some habits and some rights. One of the habits might be "acting like a hard-ass drill sergeant". It took me a large part of my military career to learn that my goal was not to win friends but to be a "hardass Sergeant". Now that might have been the old core and they might not do it that way anymore. They might have to say "please". Not the way to long term survival.

I learned, eventually, that when Sarg yells down, he means eat dirt now. Ask questions, if you must, later.

I really don't give a hoot any longer, what you say. If I could block you, I would. But that functionality is not available (as far as I know) on this website.

I added you to my "foe" list, a lot of good that did, I still see your aggressive personality! Yay!!!

Onward and upward. I called SS, to change my order (adding, the four bearings, for my integral Mark V band saw) and the woman said that she had to do something and that she would call me back. This was no later than 1 pm.

Well guess what, she never called me back!

So, will I get the additional items? Who the heck knows?

Wow, maybe your problem is that you have a thin skin or need to chill out. I don't get upset by what any anyone says to me. You don't effect what I do and you don't pay my retirement so I don't care what you say.

I really don't care if you read my posts or not. I have a really good life. You seem to have a miserable life based on what you just said.

I really hope you can get your life together. Being happy is a much better option than being miserable.

OMG, please don't start with the "Fly BOY" stuff. The JTAC controllers (AF) on the ground call in the air strikes to protect you when you are are on the ground and in trouble. If you want bombs 100 yards from your position we deliver. What does that have to do with a hard ass Drill Sargent? It is discipline which we get in the AF the same as any other service.

As I said in another post it takes ALL of us. Again, It has to do with training and having people around you that you can trust. Does take a bad ass? Most of the time it does and I will default to that every time. If you haven't been there you don't have a clue.
