I don't think so. You responded to my post where I/we were discussing the 4E jointer head rest. I need the hinge piece that attaches the jointer to the head rest. I have two jointers, two headrests and only one hinge. It is the piece on the right attached to the rod on the head rest in the picture. The jointer attaches to it so it can be rotated up into operating position or down out of the way when not needed.

John that is a pretty clean shop, maybe in a finishing mode, but I clean up as I go or at least the end of the day, wood chips and Berber carpeting does not go together, same with Polar Fleece.
Back to the SC, you mentioned Turbine Oil, I worked at the largest fossil fuel PP East of the Mississippi, I had access to thousands of gallons of it. But it only about 10W, so what do I get from the store, 3way is mineral based and I think too thin, I am thinking like a 20-30W, maybe some Mobil 1.
No feed beck on the Dayco belts from the Amish hat, so going with the Good Year/Continental cogged, I can get them for 5$ a piece here from a industrial supplier, been there b4 for the dedicated DP. Still in a delima, 4 ERS, one for parts maybe, but only 2 SC at the moment, an ER is not a ER without one!!!!!

Try to find DAYCO TOP COG 15225 and 15255.
Isnt a L5 have a larger cross section then a L4?
I got the floating pulley freed up, all is well with the SC, just need to get new belts.

Yes, a L5 would be, but a 15 is actually 15/32 which they call a 1/2".(0.44???)

No finishing mode. That is the way it has been since I had the building was built 5 years ago. Two PM1200 1200CFM ceiling mounter air cleaners and a Clear Vue 2000 CFM cyclone. Oh and my wife is a woodworker so she tends to clean up once in a while when I fail to do it.

As far as the speed changer, I said it before and I will say it again and this is just my opinion. The center sheave on the speed changer does not move in relation to the shaft or anything unless you change the speed. Then it only moves side to side a small amount at a very slow rate. It does not need any kind of heavy/high tech lubrication. The less the better so it does not get gunked up. IMO speed changers that you see with the center sheave stuck are due to over lubrication not with standing the 60 year age and lack of maintenance.

John got that on the center sheave/pulley, I meant for lube on that shaft the whole assembly spins on. Nice to have a helper in the shop that counters/compliments our defacets. Danm spell check did not pick it up.

Oh, sorry. I use the same light turbine oil I use on the sliding sheave. I just use a little more a little more often. The sintered bronze bushings are porous and retain the oil very well.
