Great job Dick ! They are beautiful machines when returned to their original state and that one is an excellent example.

OK, finally got permission (she has been gone a lot and hard to pin down) to post a picture of Dawn and I with her machine. She came by late last summer to see her fathers 10ER after rebuild. She is a very spry mid 70's year old gal who pulls a fifthwheel RV around the country.
Seeing her dad's machine like this made her cry..... She said it came out better than she had expected.

Anyway, here is the final chapter to the saga of Texas Booty. I am glad I was able "save" her dad's machine.
Again, thank you Dawn for the opportunity.
BTW, she is pulling her RV to Oregon in early fall and she is bringing me some pipe clamps that she found ....

Dick, that's a great story. Who says these machines don't have souls?
I wish I could have met the original owner of my own 10ER. From a business card and the wonderful tool collection in the accompanying Gerstner tool box, I know that he was
patternmaker from Cleveland. I could have learned a whole lot from that guy!

What a great story! Dawn's Father must be so proud that a tool, he obviously loved, still lives on. The hope all of us "tool guys" have is that our "babies" go to good homes!
Kudos Everett!
Beautiful and loving restore Dick!!!
