It has not been a quick sale but we have now accepted an offer. We have also begun the inspection/closing process on our new place. Our final inspection is scheduled for next Tuesday. Should be settled in the new house by mid April.

The shop will remain stored in a POD for a while. I have plans to remodel (rustoleum floors, new work bench, wall hung storage cabinets, overhead lighting, complete paint job, 4 additional wall outlets and maybe 220vac).

Good luck Dusty on this adventure ! A new shop is a double edged sword. Fun that you get to design a whole new space but also a lot of work. Looking forward to seeing the progress of it.

Sounds like fun, Dusty. In what part of town is the new place?

The house is in Vista Montana Estate, located west of Kolb and south of I10. We are within hearing distance of flight activity at Davis Monthan. It will feel like going back home but without the U2 takeoffs every morning. Basically, we will be a nearby neighbor to the Bone Yard. Kolb Road will be our primary route to and from the hospital, doctors and the commissary.

I will attempt to get pictures of the "now empty" shop area when we do the final inspection on Tuesday.

This shop served me well. I will reflect on this place for a long while.

A shed may be just a shed, a garage may be just a garage but a shop in either can almost be family.... :) :) :)
