No! I have tried to locate a part number and price but have not been able to. I have what is shown on my original order form as Speed Control Box (514736) but I am doubtful that this is for the Power Stand.

I believe that is factory for that style switch. The part number should be in the manual for that style stand. However it will not have a parts breakout of the switch itself. Realize SS upgraded the switch to the newer style keyed switch as used on the newer head stocks.
The pictures are my band saw stand.
John, the switch shown in these two pictures - is this nothing more than a switched outlet?

Of course it is not the same switch since the old power stand switches did not have the speed control knob like the pro planer switch. The case is the same but it is just an on/off switch.
Again, the switch part number should be in the manual for the power stand that has that switch. Surely someone here has the manual. Is the switch available? I doubt it.
Oh BTW dusty, did you notice the saw dust in the pictures?

"IT" is a switch box with an interlock key and a top mounted quick(panic) off 'button'.
I do think there are other 'devices' that serve that purpose.

I think John was referring to HIS dusty pictures.

The manual above came with my used jigsaw and Power Stand -- the PO couldn't find them when I picked up the saw, but was nice enough to mail them to me when he found them later.
I have the same switch on my stand-alone overarm pin router, but the bracket is not used. It's a nice switch, but I'd be just as happy with a paddle-style safety switch like
this one, which happens to be on sale right now at a very good price.
I'd never noticed the optional casters on the Power Stand drawing before, but they are interesting. They appear to be used in a "tip & roll" configuration. I bought a used set of Mark V casters for the Power Stand, but have never gotten around to installing them. I may try the tip-and-roll caster idea instead.

All good stuff. Thank You all. I was asking about the Shopsmith switch, as a Power stand I purchased came with one. It however, was used as a stand for the power planer so it has the 1 1/2 hp motor running twice as fast as the regular 1725 rpm usual w/ccw shaft, it also had the switch mounted to the planer itself.
I also received The other older Power stand, with the Shopsmith I purchased. It however has the butterfly shaped shelf mounted motor w/cw shaft. This Stand has been retrofitted with the switch type mentioned by BuckeyeDennis the paddle style. The motor is hard wired. Unlike the planer Stand that has the keyed power outlet. What Shopsmith call a switch box.
Thank you all. Seems the switch box bracket, and missing key are no longer avail. from Shopsmith. And I will need to purchase another 1/2 3/4 HP motor w/ccw shaft.
That way, I can complete my Jointer Stand & Bandsaw Stand.
BTW Nice plumbing on that Jigsaw BuckeyeDennis!
