I was just on the website and noted that several of the previously missing (and concerning) parts breakdowns are now present. Including the conventional headstock, currently called "Conventional Motor Service Parts." It's kind of clunky, all of the breakdowns are under the heading "Mark 7 Component," but considerably more of the information is present.

This new site still does not have my account details in place. Called on 9/10/24 and was told they are working on recovering all account info from the previous system. My order history appeared shortly after that but now it's gone again. Sorry, but I am not impressed.

Have you had any experience maintaining a web site? Doing so is not a walk in the park. These folks have an enormous job to do. Give them a break.

Been there mate, the new site's a solid improvement but had to re-start my parts shopping too. Login wasn't working at first but later kicked in, maybe just needed a bit of time. Parts list seems better now, but few things I was looking for gone missing. Hoping they'd get added again soon, really need 'em. Tried the manual search like David suggested, got some parts but not all. Cheers for the help though!

Unfortuneately, I can't login.

I was able to login by going through Google. Could probably gone through FB as well. Don't understand this. Why via Google when not direct to shopsmith.com with a password that has been in place for years.

Just thankful that I have mine own "Order History" file and shop equipment inventory.

Passwords on the old site were encrypted and could not be copied to the new site.

Me Too!

Interesting that it displays my forum id and "the forum url?

I can understand all this association with new trendy crap(google, facebook, e-mail . . .), but why at the expense of a simple old fashioned approach.

WHY is it dependent on an e-mail address for an id?

Reset password does not work!? :(

OK IF that is the explanation does it mean that there are many out there who cannot login and are about to give up and "Go Away"?
