Nope! I am suspicious the 'current' freebie does not include the 'stops' between me and ss! It keeps trying awfully hard to get me to 'upgrade'.

It counts them(19), but does not 'graph' them. It merely displays a (?).

Maybe a bad download. I'm glad that you don't really need the detailed information. In your situation, I would just uninstall and forget it ever existed.

It is not entirely 'hopeless'. It is interesting that a firewall symbol appears to the left of the ss indicator for a brief instant before the final display is created. I may install the 30day trial version(for 29 days).

Correction: Make that 15 days!

I uninstalled the free 'lite' version and downloaded the trial version.

:( Same result! :(

I uninstalled the 15 day trial version also. Hopefully they will e-mail me for WHY I uninstalled them both today! Maybe it is something related to my puter!:)(wishful ?thinking?)

We just experienced the problem again, so while the site was down I ran a DNS trace. I made a screen capture and added captions (in red) that outline the process as explained in one of my previous messages.

I am certain that outages occur somewhere everyday. I hope that this is one of those and NOT the beginning of the series of outages that occurred earlier.

I have not experienced a "Server not Found" in about a week.

Here along the upper Gulf Coast, using AT&T, only accessing the website in the evenings and every few days, I have not experienced this problem yet and I hope that I don't. Sorry for those of you who have this problem. Probably in the mornings when all the office workers are receiving and sending emails, twittering and facebooking, this may jam some of the servers you are passing through, so you can't find the Shopsmith server because of all the local traffic you are trying to cut through. Remember, this is like the phone system used to be back in the day. Hope you get your problems resolved.
