OK now I have this plan to go into the ice cave and put on my new 1/8" blade and I guess my other guide blocks, well maybe, maybe not. I don't really need to use bandsaw so for testing purposes only I don't need the guide blocks.....

OK I'm back.

Removed the 3/8" blade, pulled the ceramic guides, took the new 1/8" blade out of the packaging and put it on. Started with it way detentioned and layed it on the top wheel about in the middle, put it on the bottom wheel and put just a small amount of "tension" on, really just taking up the slack and got the blade positioned in the "guide" block area. With the blade in the middle of the tires I snugged it up with the tension adjustment. Rotated slowly to see if it were caught somewhere or anything looking odd. No problems so I up the tension until I could feel it. Started to rotate the blade more and it started tracking back, it stopped as expected as it got to the bearing. Now I set the tension for a 1/8" blade. Tracked the same as the blade it had replaced, same placement at the rear of the blade on the tires and bearings. I'd have to say it worked as it should have.

Even under very light tension the blade tracks to the back of the wheels as natural as anything. So I'm happy about that.

Still doesn't solve anyones problem and I am clearly not seeing it on mine so we are off into the guess mode.

How about some pictures? That might help, it would give us a view of what condition the tires are, how the tension gauge is set and if it needs to be adjusted etc.
