Al, didn't know you are a member here. Can you actually "run" a Shopsmith? Don't they cause too much "global warming?"cooch366 wrote: BTW. Did I tell all of you that "I" invented the internet.
From what I've heard, you didn't discover the internet, but DID "invent" global warming. (As well as "global Whining.")
Seriously, I know you're not really Al Gore.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

So do I. Since I don't want a Power Pro, make mine a Model 10, with one of Skip's DC conversions, and ALL the accessories. (Should be cheaper than theGene Howe wrote:I vote for Heath!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PP anyway.)

I guess that's just the way it goes in the good ole U.S. of A.
(I wanna planer)
A chicken in every pot and a Power Pro in every workshop (even skou's whether he wants it or not because it's for his own good). Yes, we can!

Heath, which party? "Shopsmith4us"?
And, who is paying all the bills?:D
(Make it come out of the union dues,
or the DNC!)

Good point. And it gets worse from there. Somewhere around a third to a half of the "large percentage" of the 8 mill that are not true are invalid due to fatal mistakes on the applications (wrong personal info, lies, incorrect financial data, etc.).skou wrote:Fred, care to back up your claims?
10 million? Sorry, only 8 million signed up, and a large percentage of them haven't actually GOTTEN insurance policies.
...steve
And then ya figure the "policies" that disappear after the first year "subsidies" from "the Fed" (a numb-nuts epithet for "taxpayer") go away, and on and on...
