Thank you for the kind words. I will hopefully have the finished shelf pictures up within a few days. Then I just need to find a place to hang it, I didn't really make it for any other reason than a challenge.
... Maybe it will be a good place to store my chisels

However it is never too late to give you a great big ATTA BOY BEAVE!!!!

Mission accomplished. Got it sanded and lacquered. The wood contrast is virtually unseen, next time I'll go walnut and maple. The mahogany just didn't impress me much. I will say that hard maple was worth the headache getting it prepared.
