Thanks very much! Yeah, I had some inner debate when I was bidding on that one, since even the starting bid was pretty high. But once I actually had it in my hands, I was so glad to have acquired it! The thing just oozes vintage 1950s, and is a great complement to the rest of my collection.

I’ve been spinning around this idea to incorporate this light fixture into a retro hardware store display, along with a 10-ER accessories display board (also from a retailer…) and my recently acquired greenie-era Magna-Line Double Power Stand. Between my Shopsmith memorabilia and a smaller collection of my home state’s Millers Falls hand tools, I think could create a pretty cool 1950s vibe…

This is the hardware store accessories board that I mentioned previously - needs some cleanup and restoration, but is generally in really good shape!

If budget is not a concern, the L.S. Starrett Company, also from your home state, makes some fine tools as well. Addictive though, use in moderation.

Noticed the two 'knob' sizes. Which one used where/when???

Honestly, I’ve never tried to populate the board with the proper items in each space. The larger one looks like the extension table knob, but I’m not sure what the smaller one would be…

The longer knob would be for the extension table to the tailstock. The shorter for the tailstock to the base/arm or headrest end. Knob styles change over the time the Model 10's were in production. Also, the dowel should not be there for the longer knob spot.
