WHERE ARE THE PICS of the newbe?
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

I was just reading about a 1970 Dodge Challenger in Panther Pink (the Pink Panther color). You could make a case that both men and women would like that color!

I probably won't start the restoration until Q1 of 2010. I really want to start doing some woodworking first. Once the ER is completed, which should be within a couple weeks, I'll tackle some woodworking.

Just wondering who opens the email for Restorations... I have this photo of an old shopsmith that I was thinking having restored...

If you see a post like that, tell them that they aren't restorable due to an severe toxic outgassing from the casting material used and that they need to package and ship the complete unit to "ShopSmith Toxic Waste Disposal, mickyd's address, San Diego, CA". Also, tell them that they will qualify to receive a $2500 environmental tax rebate on their next tax return. Thank you.
