I don't recall the cost of a PowerPro but $1495 for a SS with a PowerPro headstock and bandsaw seems like a pretty good deal assuming it is in good shape. Although, if the pictures are all inclusive, there are missing parts.

That appears to be an arbor of some sort, much like the one in the attached image, with the spacers not shown. I do not believe it is a Shopsmith item though.

Weird that the carriage isn't on the way tubes in the photos. Possibly he was turning something to the maximum diameter and took off the carriage to get a few more fractions of an inch?

Maybe the band saw is new and never put together. There is also a table raiser bracket attached to the carriage.
