The correct Adapter is an
ISNS. Scroll to the bottom of page 7 for the listing.
Sorry, my fault for not proofreading before posting. You are correct, IFNS is not the correct one for use on a Shopsmith. Didn't realize I was dyslexic.

I think your question has already been answered but just in case it has not - the correct adapter is an

Very interesting thread, even though I don't own a Teknatool chuck. Mine is a Onway Talon. Checked the slope of the 5/32" screw and found it runs straight down - no angle. However, the screw is dimpled so only the outside of the screw touches the spindle. The outside edges of the contact part of the screw have been pressed more on one side of the circle than the other.
This took me to another question- Do the Shopsmith saw arbors all have angled set crews? I checked one of mine and it looks like yes, the screw is angled. How about all Shopsmith arbors???? Is it worth worry?
The screws on the router chucks go straight in.
Didn't check all of the rest of the arbors.

I went back to my records and found I got my G3 in 2006. As I have said the insert is designed for the shopsmith, correct thread, correct setscrew, correct angle, and yes if it quacks like a duck then it is probably a duck.
So at one time they were shipping the correct part, whatever they called it. So if yours is the same as mine in function that is all that matters. It might be renamed and/or re-stamped but so long as it meets the above facts it is the right one.

Maybe they are. All I get is "IE cannot dispay the web page" when trying to get to teknatool, since I discovered I have the f'ing "F" adaptor with my SS/G3 chuck.
One assumes they are still in business...

I changed to IE and had problems with the teknatool sites as well.
Brace yourself. Here comes some double talk. Having an Adapter stamped with a "F" apparently doesn't mean you have the wrong Adapter. Check the photo images that reible posted (this thread). His Adapter is stamped with an "F" and his is correct.
The Shopsmith related information on some of the Teknatool web pages can be very confusing.
I spoke with a representative at Teknatool (Florida) yesterday so I think they are still available to accept your money.

Air Force here too. And as I was reaching for my camera I realized my turn came a couple of decades before mouse pads. So no picture.
