Wood Shavings Delemma

I agree that to let the chips fly and sweep them all up later is the best solution. I contain the shavings/chips with my fold up containment walls and then use an extra large dustpan to scoop up the shavings and dump them into 40 gallon contractors bags, which I cart to the back yard and spread in my gardens. My SS dust collector hose terminates about an inch below my work which does a good job of collecting all the fine dust.
