Thanks; but in full disclosure the pattern and the wood choices came from a Wood Whisper video that I watched on his website.

I just finished my current project. We have a large cabinet above the basement stairway for storage. Originally it had plain plywood sheets painted white for doors. They were functional, but painted wood looks cheap. We decided to reface the cabinet and make nicer doors.
I do the sawing and my Wife does the hand carving. This is the finished project.

No ducking needed. The cabinet is high enough to easily walk under it as the stairs are another 7 feet or so below the cabinet, but that puts it up so high that we can use only the bottom 2 of the 3 shelves in it. To get to the top shelf, it would require some kind of fancy ladder that would work in the stairway. I haven't figured out a nice way to build that yet.
