Went looking for the startup 'program' that installs and intercepts writing to 'spool' directory and redirects it to the printer.
NOT FOUND, hence the 'stuff' disappears comment above.
Tried to find it before taking this weekend out to watch my grandson's all star Cal Ripkin 12 yr old baseball team win the Ohio Valley* regional championship. That makes 2 weekends from now 'unavailable' as that 'division's' national world series takes place then. I WILL be there!!!
