My wife likes to take the pickle juice left overs and put them on our drive way cracks to kill the weeds. It seems to work, we just don't eat enough pickles to keep the whole driveway clean and when it fresh I keep thinking of hotdogs for some reason.

Let us know how it works for you.

Ed
Didn't work so well. Spotty at best and the weeds were tougher than the straight vinegar. Couldn't stand up to he weed Wacker though.

Weather Radio has been busy tonight. Must be up to about a dozen alerts and it isn't even 10:00 yet. Nothing much coming over us but lots out to our southwest. Hope all of you are safe and out of harms way.

Just out of interest how many of you have a weather radio? If you have the TV or radio on then you get the alerts but we don't always have them on and certainly not during the night when storms like to roam in here in the mid-west. I noticed my phone even gave a message, must be the weather app I have on it.

Ed the radar looked bad and we got a bit around grilling time here, but your stuff looked bad, but as Storm Team 4 here sez you cant judge the rain buy the radar.

Just a normal early summer here in N. AZ. Hot and dry. We'll gladly take some of your Midwestern rains.

Gene, it may be a normal day in SnowFlake, but it has been
BRUTAL here in Mesa! (Yes, I capitalize both Snow and Flake,
since I'm related to the Flakes.)

We haven't dropped 100 for the last 6 days!

Meh...The humidity's been up a bit yesterday and today. Right now, it's about 30%, and when temps are over 110, that makes things a lot less pleasant. Normally, I'd agree with you, but right now it's miserable. Even more miserable is the fact that my shop is a garage with no AC. I'm hoping to wake up early enough tomorrow that I can have some coffee and get in the shop for an hour or so before it becomes disgusting.

I was just out weeding the onion patch, feeling warm at 78 degrees and 58% humidity. We will top out at about 85 degrees so the forecast says. Next couple of days in the 90's but the humidity will get over 70% so I'm planning on adjusting my walks and outside activities accordingly. Not a fan of hot sticky weather but you live where you live and that it pretty much that.

For all you guys south of Payson, I feel your pain.
We lived in the Casa Grande/Coolidge/Florence area for many HOT years.
But hey, the winters are great down there.
It's overcast and 80 here. Was 90+ yesterday, though.
Early monsoons?
