I totally agree. I did the same as you at the same time. I have a Cannon AE1 and an A1 with power winder and 5 or 6 lenses and everything else that goes with them. At that time the A1 was Cannon's top of the line camera body.

Make that EXACTLY the same thing. My SLR is also an A1 with power winder. If only someone would make a digital conversion kit that drops in like a film cannister, we could still use those FD lenses.

OK, it is time to call this project complete. The pictures are after 5 coats of Tung oil. I put a coat of Johnson's Paste Wax but it didn't change the appearence. The Tung oil has the same sheen as the wax.

I don't know. I will let that up to my wife. She did tell me to save the extra piece of the handle in case she wants me to make another one.

The craftsmanship is absolutely first-rate. An I-Box just jumped up a few notches on my wish list.

Made some more boxes with the Incra Jig-I-Box. Works pretty good, want to try the splined box later.

Well our antique jeweler passed through town last Monday going to an antique show in Seattle. We have been buying jewelry from him for the last 10 years or so when he comes to the Utah antique shows. He buys high end estates and most of his jewelry is from the early to mid 20th century.

So we had dinner with him and my wife wanted to give him the box. It was a big hit with him and his wife. I am not sure which one will end up with it but we left it up to to them.

Am I doing something wrong. I have used the incra I-box with my Mark 7 Table saw and it works beautifully so I thought I'd try it with the Mark 7 under table router. It wont clear the carriage. I hope I'm being stupid and making an obvious error. Anybody else run into this?
