Dusty, I think this is a good subject to break down the groups to something more specific. This may have already been discussed, but I don't like wadding through all the muck. I am wondering what will happen to the history of what is already here. I am not sure that the programmers will be able to decide in which group the thread would belong. Of course, the current threads could remain where they are and then open new categories. This is not difficult and didn't use to be. But software has greatly changed since I retired in 2003. Thank you, Dusty to starting this great discussion. Thank all those who have contribute to this topic. That's all I have to say. My manure spreader is in the barn. :D :D

Sorry about that Gator, a bit of the burr is still under may saddle.
It was/is a good topic, things got aired and vented, I think good things will come of it, same as Shop Talk if it gets imposed.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

I think 'shop talk' is an excellent suggestion.

A place for shop related discussion 'only'.

Notice I did not say 'woodworking' only. I do other things in 'my shop'.
We do know want to hear about the OTHER things you do in your shop!
I had metal working in mind!

You?

Oh okay! You might be more specific next time. :D
