This is my first post on here. I was searching some of the old threads and saw this one. Great project.charlese wrote:Wow! Gotta chance to look at my new Woodsmith Magazine. Both my wife and I are turned on over their Snack Tray Cabinet. The name of this piece of furniture doesn't sound very enticing, but a look at a finished one was a Wow! from both or us. It'll fit in our house!
Thanks charlese. My friend navycop was right. Ask and you shall recieve. But I thought drawings and plans were the samething?charlese wrote:Yes, they have construction details in the magazine - (Issue 180) There are lot of drawings with dimensions shown, but no plans that you could lay out on a bench.
Well, they are, kinda! The drawings I am referring to are more like Pictures drawn by an artist. They do show dimensions, but are not the kind of plan you can unfold and lay out on a table, or pin up on a wall.nomoman wrote: But I thought drawings and plans were the samething?
I remember those...charlese wrote:... pin up on a wall.

What an outstanding piece of work Chuck. I must have viewed the post of the final project a dozen times in admiration since I've joined this forum. You have got to feel very proud of yourself. A true work or art and an inspiration to all. Outstanding finish also.charlese wrote:The month of January, building. The month of February finishing. -- Now I can call it DONE! Thanks to Woodsmith Magazine's plans we now have a Snack Tray Cabinet. Had a bit of a delay with a set of issues concerning the top of the cabinet. I'll explain in the next post, but here are photos of the finished piece. The lower two drawers contain trays, the other three are just drawers.
